Hookin’ at the Farm

Third Wednesday of the month 10:30am -3:30pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Bring your project and hook for the day or evening or both. Pack a lunch or eat at the Rainbow Café in Pine Island. E-mail me if you want to get on a reminder list for this free hooking day. No Instruction - Please RSVP to make sure the group is meeting.

Classes at the Farm

Private Classes

Get help with any aspect of hooking, punch needle, needle felting or proddy. Just call for an appointment. Class Fee: $15/hour/person.

Hooking Workshop

Three full days of hooking fun! This class will include time to color plan and work on a project of your choice. There will be several mini lessons and a lecture time. Delicious lunches included. Class limited to 11 students.

Beginning Rug Hooking

Discover the art of rug hooking. You will learn how to hook and finish a small heirloom-quality rug. There will be discussion about selecting and dyeing wool and sources for rug hooking supplies. First Class Flag Kit includes: wool cut into strips, pattern drawn on monks cloth and a hook. Lunch included.

Bring to class: sturdy 14" quilting hoop & scissors

Wooly Sheep Class

Learn double looping, working with plaids, hooking tips for animals & lettering and two great finishing techniques while creating this fun sheep mat. Delicious lunch included.

Time: 10:00am – 3:00pm Class Fee: $40

Kit Fee: $55 (includes uncut wool with your choice of colors and pattern drawn on monks cloth) Please specify for linen & add $10

Full refunds made if class is cancelled by Pine Island Primitives. Weather related cancellations will be rescheduled at a later date.
